Cayla Stone

Bio:

She may be from South Carolina, but Cayla Stone has taken Colorado by storm. Originally, Cayla came to Colorado to finish up her Equine Science degree at Colorado State University but has made a name for herself in The Centennial State as a well-known event rider and trainer. After over 15 years of training and competing, Cayla’s biggest passion is bridging two worlds that don’t often come together; mustang training and English riding. Over the last six years, Cayla has taken over 30 mustangs under her wing, leading the charge in showcasing the breed’s versatility and demonstrating their adoptability. Cayla proved the mustang’s caliber, as well as her own, by placing twice in the Extreme Mustang Makeover competition and placing 10th in the 2018 American Eventing Championships with one of her formerly wild horses.
