Bio:

Daniela Moguel began riding at the age of 10 in her hometown of Mexico City, Mexico where she quickly gained a love for the sport of show jumping and won several championships as a young rider. In 2001, she joined Joy Phar as a working student in North Carolina and transitioned to eventing. In 2014, she competed at the Central American Games where she was awarded the silver medal. Afterward, Daniela and her mare, Cecelia, began training with Karen O’Connor in an effort to hone their skills even further. Under O’Connor’s tutelage, Daniela was in the top honors at the Toronto Pan American Games in 2015 and was the first Mexican rider to compete at Rolex Kentucky in 2016, where she finished 28th. Currently, Daniella splits her time between the United States and Mexico where she continues to train and work toward her ultimate goal – the Olympics.
