Improve fertility with top-rated equine supplements. Essential reproductive support, Releira helps mares and stallions reach their full breeding potential in a daily, DHA supplement.
KEY BENEFITS FOR MARES
- Success in fewer cycles: Releira significantly improves conception rates in broodmares with a history of complications. Our DHA helps difficult mares that are typically bred in three to seven cycles to become pregnant in one cycle.
- Reduced costs: Mares that donāt become pregnant still need care and resources. Quicker, successful pregnancies reduce the expenses for unbred mares and eliminates the missed opportunity of not having a foal to sell or compete with for another year.
- Improved conception rates: Releira reduces post-breeding uterine inflammation and fluids for higher pregnancy rates.
- Support throughout pregnancy: Safely provides constant reproductive support throughout the entire gestation period.
KEY BENEFITS FOR STALLIONS
- Boosts fertility: Improves pregnancy rates from stallions with a history of common fertility issues.
- Increased sperm count: Stallions with normal sperm counts often have numbers dip mid-season. Releira keeps numbers high throughout the entire season and improves numbers in stallions with low counts.
- Improved sperm quality and motility: Pure DHA works to not only increase sperm production, but to improve the quality and motility of the sperm for successful AI and live cover breedings.
KEY BENEFITS FOR FOALS
- More live foals: DHA improves molecular development. This creates a better cell membrane and more foals carried to term.
- Less late season foals: Mares bred in fewer cycles result in foals born on time. Late-born, smaller foals are at a disadvantage against older foals in yearling sales and competition.
- Improved cognitive health: Studies have proved that foals of mares supplemented with Releira have increased cognitive function and trainability. Quality DHA transfers to the foal during gestation and nursing.
FEATURES
- The right DHA source: Releira uses a purified, concentrated source of Omega-3 algal-DHA unlike any other supplement on the market. DHA is one of the most beneficial, natural Omega-3 Fatty Acids and provides advanced reproductive support. Other Omega-3 equine supplements that use flaxseed donāt contain beneficial DHA. They contain ALA that doesnāt provide the same benefits. Omega-3 equine supplements that contain fish oils expose the horse to heavy metal toxicity and contain less DHA than algal forms. Horses are herbivores and canāt use fish oil sources as efficiently as algae based formulas. Because our DHA is sourced from purified vegetarian algae it can be easily absorbed and provides enough DHA for maximum results.
- Research proven: Our research was conducted on horses supplemented with the exact doses of our product that we recommend for our customers. Our competitors claim their products are based in research, but they donāt study their own product in its recommended doses. Releira is one of the first and only products on the market to be tested the way itās intended to be used. These studies prove that Releira works.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For optimal results, begin feeding 2 scoops per day 60 days prior to breeding. Continue with 2 scoops throughout gestation or, as an alternative, decrease to 1 scoop per day after 90 days of gestation.
If palatability issues arise, start by feeding small amounts of ReleiraĀ® for the first few days and gradually work up to full dosing. Adding a few ounces of water, vegetable oil or mint extract may also enhance palatability.

Q: How soon before the breeding season do I need to start using ReleiraĀ®?
A: We recommend that you begin feeding Releira at least 60 days prior to breeding for mares and stallions. This gives the DHA time to incorporate into the cellular membrane and prepare the reproductive system for a successful season.
Q: Will ReleiraĀ® still work if I donāt have 60 days before breeding?
A: Yes. The benefits begin within 2 weeks of starting on Releira. Beginning Releira 60 days before breeding improves the amount of reduced inflammation. For mares, the full benefits to oocyte membrane health will not be experienced until 45 - 60 days. For stallions, motility improvement in the sperm begins to be recognized in 2 - 4 weeks, yet optimum morphology and motility is achieved at around 60 days.
Q: How can ReleiraĀ® help my mare?
A: Releira has been proven to benefit broodmares by reducing inflammation post-breeding, increasing conception rates and reducing the number of cycles it takes to get a confirmed pregnancy.
Q: How can ReleiraĀ® help my stallion?
A: DHA has been shown to help stallions in many ways. By feeding a quality, bioavailable source of DHA like Releira, you can expect to see improvement in semen quality, sperm count, motility and conception rates.
Q: How can ReleiraĀ® help my foal?
A: Releira has been proven to improve DHA transfer to the foal during gestation and through maternal transfer post foaling when mares were supplemented throughout pregnancy and nursing. Foals from supplemented mares had improved cognition, development and even trainability later in life!
Q: What are the artificial flavors in ReleiraĀ®?
A: The artificial flavors in Releira come from a combination of peppermint extract and ground peppermint for a tasty supplement.
Q: Will my horse eat ReleiraĀ®?
A: Generally, if your horse eats other supplements without an issue, working Releira into their regimen wonāt be a problem. Our DHA is sourced from algae instead of fish oil, so it doesnāt have a strong fishy taste. If your horse doesnāt want to eat Releira, then try some simple tricks like starting with a small amount of Releira or adding water, vegetable oil, diluted corn syrup (50 - 75% water) or molasses.
Q: How is ReleiraĀ® different from other Omega-3 supplements?
A: Releira is unique in its research, effectiveness and exclusivity. Releira is the very product used in the research cited by so many other companies with āsimilarā products. The truth is, there are no similar products. Releira is the only equine Omega-3 product existing that contains the purest form of algae-derived DHA available making it the most effective on the market. Additionally, Releira is patent-pending meaning its formula is unique and it has been proven to deliver results as intended.
Q: How is ReleiraĀ® different from flaxseed?
A: There are three main Omega-3 Fatty Acids that are referenced in studies ā DHA, EPA and ALA. DHA and EPA are primarily responsible for the improvement in ailments and dysfunctions of the immune, respiratory and reproductive systems. Flaxseed contains only ALA which the body must then convert to DHA and EPA to enjoy the beneficial effects associated with Omega-3s. The body, no matter the species, does not convert ALA effectively enough to provide DHA or EPA in enough quantity to benefit these conditions. To effectively supplement DHA and EPA, the source must be oceanic. Fish oil is the common form available for supplementation and is very effective for carnivores. Releira, however, utilizes an oceanic, algae-derived source of DHA making it the only vegetarian supplement on the market to effectively supply horses with additional DHA needed to improve reproductive deficiencies.
Q: How long does my broodmare need to stay on ReleiraĀ®?
A: We recommend that you start your broodmare on Releira at least 60 days prior to breeding and continue supplementing her throughout gestation and nursing to ensure the foal receives the full benefit of DHA supplementation as well.
Q: How long does my stallion need to stay on ReleiraĀ®?
A: We recommend that you start your stallion on Releira at least 60 days prior to breeding and continue supplementing throughout the breeding season. If you collect your stallion year-round, you may consider adding Releira to his continuous supplementation regimen.
"My involvement with Releira goes way back to calling my colleagues bluff regarding the unproven benefits of Releira's omega 3 fatty acids with supplemental DHA on reproduction in mares. I was subsequently challenged to designed a trial to disprove the theory and Arenus was legitimate enough to support the research. A controlled trial was conducted utilizing a very robust frozen semen challenge that demonstrated a significant influence of supplementation with Releira on the post breeding inflammatory response in mares. Another clinical trial involving thoroughbred mares and stallions in a commercial breeding environment further demonstrated the benefits of Releira supplementation on reducing breeding induced inflammation and improving per cycle pregnancy rates. As a scientist and researcher, I'm a show-me-the-data man and, believe me, I have seen the data!"

"We were going to retire Okie as a broodmare due to extreme difficulty getting her in foal. After starting her on Releira, we were able to get her in foal much easier."
- Kyle Kellmer, Kellmer Performance Horses
"We have been using Releira and Steadfast Equine Growth for 2 years now. Our babies and yearlings are bigger, stronger and healthier than in past years. Our mares seem to cycle really well once started on Releira. We highly recommend these Arenus products."
- Tracer Gilson, Booth Ranches
"Releira has become our go to product to support our stallions. We have been using Releira at Oswood Stallion Station for the past 4 years and have been extremely pleased with the results. We have seen significant improvement in semen quality, whether fresh or frozen, and our cooled and shipped semen has performed very well. High quality semen helps to improve conception rates, resulting in less rebreeding and overall increased customer satisfaction while helping to control costs. Releira is a mainstay in our barn!"
- Jeff Oswood, Oswood Stallion Station
"Releira has been one of the most effective stallion products that we have ever used. We've seen significant improvement in semen quality, semen counts, stallion consistency throughout the breeding season, and conception rates. Our increase in semen velocity is like driving a Ferrari versus an SUV! As a breeding farm, these improvements are very important to us, as higher quality semen and stallion consistency really helps us to control costs as well as maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. While Releira has been a phenomenal product from a breeding perspective, it has also really helped our stallions' overall health as well as helping them stay less sore in spite of the rigors of a hectic breeding schedule. Releira is a huge asset to any breeding program and is definitely a cornerstone of ours!"
