The right DHA source: Aleira uses a purified, concentrated source of Omega-3 algal-DHA. DHA is one of the most beneficial, natural Omega-3 fatty acids and provides advanced respiratory support. Other Omega-3 supplements that use flaxseed don’t contain beneficial DHA. They contain ALA that doesn’t provide the same benefits. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Aleira can be added directly to your horse's daily grain ration or concentrate. One level scoop is equal to 30 grams; 60 cc scoop enclosed.
Aleira is an aromatic supplement. Open new container and allow to air for a couple of hours before use. To acclimate, start feeding small amounts of Aleira for the first few days gradually working up to a full dose. Adding a few ounces of water, vegetable oil or mint extract may enhance palatability.
Loading Dose: Feed the Recommended Daily Feeding for the first 90 days of use for optimal results.
Maintenance Dose: Reduce the Recommended Daily Feeding by 25% to 50%. If horse's condition worsens or does not maintain, return to loading dose and keep horse on loading dose.

Impressive supplement
My overall experience was excellent. My vet recommended this product for a mare that has seasonal allergies. I haven’t even finished my first order of aleira and the mare has shown significant improvement. She used to have bad cough starting in the spring and all summer. She hasn’t coughed at all since starting this product. It can be overwhelming trying to find supplements that work for cases like this, I’m thankful for my vet recommending me this product.

Always ships quick! My mare just moved home and was getting a lot more pasture time then she ever had experienced and was experiencing this constant hacking cough. We could not even ride because she was coughing so much. We started her on Aleira while trying some medications and she immediately seemed more comfortable. Aleria Works
I have tried other products on my 20 yr old QH gelding who has mild to moderate heaves without luck. He had gotten to the point where he coughed a lot when eating. He also coughed when locked in a stall overnight at shows. My daughter saw an ad for Aleira and we decided to try it. It works! No more coughing while eating and rarely do I hear a cough after a night in the stall. And his breathing in the humid weather (NW Mich) has been fine so far. It is expensive, but it works and I will continue to give it to him.
