CAUTIONS

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Shake bottle before use. Wet entire body or specific, target area, trying to remove any dirt from area before product application. Apply product using your hands, sponge or cloth. Work in area with light massaging to generate a slight, cleansing lather. After product has been worked in, rinse until lather is gone. Dry with preferred method.

Proprietary extract of witch hazel bark and leaves with the following common herbs: arnica (Arnica montana), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), lavender (Lavendula officinalis), lobelia (Lobelia inflate), natural cocoa derivatives, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vegetable protein oil/conditioner, avocado oil, coconut oil, essential coconut oil essence, and distilled water.
Q: What does it mean that the shampoo is sulfate free?
A: Sulfates are harsh detergents that are added to shampoos, human and animal, to create suds or lather. Shampoos that contain sulfates strip the hair and skin of their natural oils. We have been trained to believe that more lather means better cleaning. In most cases, this is not true. When dealing with dry, irritated skin, an excessive lather can make the problem worse. Sore No-More Massage Shampoo is the perfect choice for these cases because it is sulfate free and gentle on dry skin.
Q: Does Sore No-More Massage Shampoo comply with “Zero-Tolerance” guidelines since it’s rinsed off?
A: Though the shampoo is rinsed off after use, it does contain lobelia. Lobelia is a natural ingredient that helps reduce inflammation and is included in most “Zero-Tolerance” regulatory lists. We suggest not using the Massage Shampoo at least 24-hours prior to competition. Please consult with your veterinarian and the regulatory organization you compete under for further clarification and guidance.
Q: If water can cause drying, wouldn’t it be preferable to not bathe my horse that is prone to dry, itchy skin?
A: Water can contribute to dry skin, however not cleansing the skin and coat can cause more problems. The skin goes through a natural shedding process. When horses and dogs have dry skin they shed their skin more often. This is similar to dandruff in humans. If the excess is not removed by cleansing the area it can impede the skin from healing and prevent the natural oils from providing proper moisture to the coat. Sore No-More Shampoo will cleanse and condition while removing any skin and hair that has shed due to dry skin and help reduce the shedding cycle.
Q: Since Sore No-More Massage Shampoo has a liniment base, can it be used as a regular liniment?
A: Though it does have a liniment base, it should not be used as a standalone liniment. You can massage with it while bathing to help soothe aches and pains, but it cannot be left on for extended periods without rinsing. It’s a dual action shampoo, meaning it helps alleviate body aches while cleansing. Try one of our Sore No-More liniments or gelotions for a pain relieving option that doesn’t need to be rinsed off.
Q: Is Sore No-More Massage Shampoo safe to use around the eyes?
A: Sore No-More Massage Shampoo is tear free, but we still recommended using caution around the eyes. We suggest applying the shampoo to a cloth or sponge when washing your horse’s face.

This is great shampoo to **** two birds with one stone. My geldings coat was clean and shiny, and he got a liniment rub at the same time. A little bit goes a long way. Smells great and really helped his body relax after a hard workout.
